Designer Tracy Dizon has grown to include a vast number of creative personnel and innovative new techniques, but its core design style – creating clothes from original materials starting with the research of a single thread – has transcended generations. Since SPRING SUMMER 2020, as it explores the relationship between the body and the clothes with creative ideas for modern women.
Tracy Dizon is a 37-year-old single mother to Travis Atreyu Dizon; both survived living in a shelter for single mothers in Manila in their first year. Together survived Travis Atreyu’s rare brain tumor found at 12 years old — Extraventricular Neurocytoma. She continued her BS Clothing Technology education in UP Diliman in pursue of a professional career in Fashion Design. This seasoned-in-her-own-right fashion designer became a Costume Designer for Film and TV, fashion stylist and a university lecturer in UP Diliman.
Tracy Dizon’s notable credentials: Project Runway Philippines Season 2 Finalist (2009), Philippine Representative to the 47th Japan Fashion Design Contest in Tokyo (2009) and Rise Art & Design Fashion Designer Competition Grand Winner New York (2017). Her regular and notable clientele are Maxene Magalon and Tessa Prieto-Valdes in Manila. Her recent and second show in NY, Spring-Summer 2019 Collection “Pinoy Pop Life” became the closing finale of the recently concluded Fashion Week Brooklyn held last October 13 at the Brooklyn Borough Hall.
She has recently move to New York and now currently New York-based.
